Where do the workshops take place?
Most workshops will take place in the Atelier Atlantis studios in Gentilly but some workshops and classes will take place on-site at different locations in the Paris region.
How do I get to the Atelier Atlantis studios?
Most workshops and classes will take place in the Atelier Atlantis studio located in Gentilly on the Southern border with Paris. The studio is easily accessible by RER line B (arret: Gentilly), buses (57, 125 and 184 stop within two minutes' walk of studio), tram 3 stops at Stade Charléty (10 minute walk) and car access is simple from the Gentilly exit off the Péripherique.
How much do the workshops cost?
The day-long workshops start at 100 euros per person
What are the various subjects that you cover in classes and workshops?
Jonathan and Michael have a wide range of professional experiences in the arts which enables them to offer the highest level instruction in subjects as diverse as different painting and drawing techniques, most areas of printmaking, photography from the most recent digital to the oldest historical photo processes and mixed media and sculpture.
What experience level should students have before taking classes?
Most classes will be open to beginners as well as those with more experience. Occasionally classes will require an advanced level, in which case, this will be noted on this website.
What size will the classes be?
Class size will depend somewhat on the subject being presented. Generally, the maximum size of classes will range from as low as four per class to no higher than 10 for studio-based workshops.
Are meals included in day-long workshops?
While there may be an occasional exception, generally, each participant will be responsible for his/her own meals. There are a number of options in close proximity to the studios.
